Khun stares at him. The eyes are still the same underneath the fringe of Jue Viole Grace, the boy who went to climb the tower just so she could see the stars.
I have to go with Rachel, Bam had said, all those years ago, and Khun had made his choice, or maybe his choice had been made right from the start when there’d been the scrawny boy with eyes too kind for the black march in his hands. -

He comes in on a Thursday morning, 10:40.
It’s an all around unnoteworthy time. Not the early morning hassle of people squeezing in as much caffeine as possible before work, nor lunch break (a hurry for caffeine and snacks) or somewhere in the afternoon (either dates, students seeking stable wifi, or old people).
The point being, there’s different kinds of people that can be expected around certain hours.
10:40 on the other hand, is a time that purely exists in the in-between of things, a gap space of sorts.Series

A one-shot fantasy sageuk AU loosely set in Joseon Korea, in which Khun is our protagonist, Bam is our hero, and fate is our antagonist.
