He, for the most part had learned to manage it, even sometimes control it, but it was for the most part unpredictable - especially the part where once Ignis and Gladiolus had officially been sworn in as his Shield and Chamberlain, the curse affected them both.
Prompto was Noctis's best friend, but he was never supposed to find out about his secrets. Prompto's habit of nursing hurt animals back to health made that a little difficult.

Noctis Lucis Caelum fell into history, his deeds and power fell to legend. The Gods he had been gifted and burdened by fell to myth. The Crystal was lost completely. Magic was more accessible to the masses for a short time, but was then gone completely.
Generations have passed, nations have fallen and more have risen since then. Monuments still stand, but many have crumbled or been destroyed in the name of progress.
But the Gods are real, magic is real. And there were a few deep, dark pockets of the world that the Light of the King of Lucis didn't reach. And in the name of progress, some of those get poked and prodded.
So, let's try this again.
