Summary
Tonight's energy coincides with the full moon beyond the venue walls. It oozes with desperation and loneliness and sexuality. At an Unknown Sorrow concert, no one "goes home" alone. Their agent books venues where there are an abundance of love hotels in walking distance, and it doesn't help that the drugs and the alcohol lowers inhibitions enough that young, know-no-better omega forget to take their blockers at the right moment, and are thus triggered into phantom heats.
It happens at concerts like this where alpha and omega at varying cycles are assembled together. Only the naive would go alone, and the downright stupid would go alone as an omega.

“Stop being so dramatic,” Till says, studying the sheet music in his hands from his position on the floor beside Ivan’s bed. “They’re just glow in the dark stars that we bought when we were 7, you could buy a better pack if you wanted to.”
“I can’t help it,” Ivan says, his eyes sliding over to trace the gentle curve of Till’s neck as he hunches over the papers. “When I like something, I have no room for anything else.”

Till doesn’t flinch again, but he does stop breathing. He looks up into Ivan’s shadowed face, seeing his tight jaw and dark eyes. He looks more like a heavily shaded gothic Victorian painting than a living person. Till’s fingers twitch with the sudden urge to grab a brush.
“Ivan?” Till whispers.
Ivan exhales slowly between his teeth. “Grab your things,” he says finally. “You’re coming home with me.”
When Ivan and Till broke up seven years ago, Till really thought they'd never see each other again. Till didn't expect Ivan to follow him back to their old high school.
