    It has been three days since Louis walked into the sun. Three days are nothing to Armand now, he barely notices the passing of time but for his growing hunger, and even that is provoked by the dried blood covering the boy. He is starting to feel tired, yes, and every time he chances to look towards the windows and sees the sunlight seeping in through the meagre protection of the newspapers plastering the glass, he can feel his mind growing heavier. Still, he doesn't go to sleep. He doesn't release the boy. He doesn't kill him, either, because Louis might be incapacitated during the day and screaming in pain and madness at night, but he's still his maitre, so he is bound by his orders.

    Besides. He is not so sure anymore he wants to kill the boy. After all, he is so endlessly fascinating.
