The plea hung heavy in the air between them like a storm brewing and if it had been anyone else from House Dellamorte, Lucanis would've sent them away. His hands were clean— Lucanis couldn't remember the last time he had dirtied them and he would be damned if he allowed himself to be sucked back in again.
