Summary
The abandoned lair was as cold as it was dark, though Boruto cared little about the comfort the area provided.
Both the cold and the dark were grounding, so different to the warm bed he used to wake up in, the sun peaking through his curtains to greet him. Not that he needed the reminder anymore, but the jarring difference put into perspective that his old life was behind him. That he could never go back to it again. The beginnings of his new life, first with his Master, made it much too easy to slip into his previous headspace. Easy to wake up outside along with the sun, easy to slip into the mindset of it simply being another day of training, or a long mission.
Here, locked away from the sun, it was impossible to make that same mistake.

Summary
Jisung always stands out despite wanting nothing more to hide in the shadows. Besides his gangly limbs and hands that rival the size of a plate, he unfortunately has more unconventional features on his body.
His ears, too pointed, his eyes too dark.
His blood, shining black instead of red.
He always seems to stand out, no matter where he may be, and always seems to attract unwanted attention.

Summary
“When was the last time you remember being happy?”
A beat passes. “Maybe… last December?”
It was a lie, like how most things he told the doctor were. He wishes he could remember the last time he had felt happiness, could remember how it felt to not be depressed, but he couldn’t.
He couldn’t.
