Kaveh doesn’t look up from his full plate. Eyebrows drawn, he mumbles something unintelligible. Alhaitham opens his mouth to press him again, but then Kaveh’s free hand moves into his tousled hair. He brushes the locks behind his ear, but they fall forward anyway.
Ah. Alhaitham identifies the issue. “You don’t want to eat with hair in your face, is that it?” he asks, eyeing Kaveh’s movements. When Kaveh glares at him, he knows he hit the target, dead center.
Alhaitham pulls up a chair on Kaveh’s side of the table and sits down. “Turn your head.”
Alhaitham brushes up on hair braiding skills he left behind with his Akademiya school uniform.

They’re in the city two days before the expedition returns, and though they aren’t meant for his ears, Varka can’t help but overhear conversations pertaining to some “foreign royalty who was blessed by the Anemo archon”.
Depending on who’s talking, this “foreign royalty” is sometimes a noble, sometimes a prince or princess, and the descriptions of what they look like differ wildly. Everyone agrees that it’s a beautiful person, but there is very little consensus on what that looks like. Varka’s favorite has to be the version where he’s got shimmering skin and eyes of gold.

Summary
Illuga had been invited by Flins to have some fun with Flins' friends over several rounds of drinks at the Nasha Town Flagship. Even though he had only met those people that day, Illuga found it a very fun and incredible experience; Flins' friends were really cool, and before Illuga could thank him for the invitation, his fellow lightkeeper had disappeared without a trace from the table.
However, Illuga was getting tired, and at that late hour it would be better to go home. It was a shame that the walk from Nasha Town to the Piramida would only tire him more. But luckily, the Flagship offered rooms available for the night.
And Illuga regretted it the moment he stepped through the hallway door to the rooms.
