Summary
Soobin is used to being in control, especially when it comes to the weight of responsibility he carries every day. But when Yeonjun steps into his space, both physically and emotionally, Soobin’s sense of self starts to fracture. Summary
Light and dark, they reflected one another. Intertwined, forming a mosaic worthy of Heaven, but it would take sainthood to grace cathedral windows, and Soobin slipped farther and farther from virtue every day. Yeonjun was his phantom pain, a cold brilliant star intent on burning through the earth's very core, and condemning Soobin down to Hell at the bottom by his side. And rather than run from his destruction, Soobin stared into the abyss and wondered- how much could it hurt to fall so far?
alternatively, journalist Soobin gets tasked with doing a feature on Yeonjun's band, and his life quickly spirals out of control from the moment they reunite

Summary
There was this thing that happened, every now and then. On occasion, the constant, ever-evolving whirring in Taehyun’s brain would come to a halt, and his thoughts dissipated into nothingness. A factory reset, of a sort. It left him unable to do anything except freeze in place, and tended to happen only in moments of true panic, which were very rare for him.
That was the state he found himself in now, unmoving, unblinking, unable to think or react beyond the widening of his eyes.
Kai continued watching him carefully. “It’s not risky if it’s you.”

As soon as Soobin was out of ear shot, Kai let out a wolf whistle.
“What?” Yeonjun asked, a surprised giggle bursting out of him.
“Soobin-hyung’s drunk,” Taehyun said. He looked around before leaning forward, as if going to tell some deep-rooted secret. “He scented you.”
Yeonjun frowned deeply. “I don’t know what that means.”
“You don’t know?” Taehyun shook his head. “Scenting is like—”
Taehyun’s mouth snapped shut when he saw Soobin returning.

Yeonjun has been in love with his best friend since he learnt what romantic love was. Perhaps even longer. As much as he’d like to think Soobin could like him back, there are too many hurdles in his way for romance to ever happen between them. Such as Soobin being straight. And of a different species than him. But as time passes, new acquaintances are made that suddenly make him work to get Soobin’s attention back. And after a series of... unfortunate events, suddenly everything about their situation changes.Does that mean their relationship can change too?
