Motels with dubious aesthetics, cases that are difficult to solve due to lack of information and bubbly drinks whose ingredients didn't exist until yesterday. But Dean isn't cool if the case involves acting like he and Cas are a cute couple and they have to kiss and hold hands, because it doesn't matter that he is a well seasoned hunter with years and years of fake identities behind his back. He's very bad at faking feelings.

The thing is, Dean hates Christmas. And his is not a generic abstract hatred, like the one some people claim to have towards this specific festivity. He doesn’t despise the Christmas spirit. Not really. In fact, the very idea of “togetherness” apeals to him in a such a basic level that, hell, he’d be the very embodiment of it to the point that his heart’d grow roots like a fucking Christmas tree, rainbow lights and all.
The thing is, Dean hates to spend Christmas alone.
