Summary
During the 7 weeks of rest Blue Lock players were given to train for the World cup match, Rin is left alone in the house he once shared with Sae, surrounded by memories of when they were inseparable, and slowly gets lost in his own thoughts. In his desperation to release the pain in his chest, he develops a destructive mindset...
Things only get worse during the match against France: A French midfielder who resembles Sae catches Rin’s attention and throws him further off balance.
By the time Japan faces Spain, Rin can barely focus on the game. Sae notices Rin's awful performance, and confronted him about it, utterly disappointed. Would Rin snap at him like usual? Or let his exhaustion get the best of him?

The porcelain plate clattered a little too hard when Rin set it down. He didn’t mean to, really, but he couldn’t help it. He watched Shidou’s stupid smug grin, Isagi’s stupid smile, and everyone else’s woahs of admiration at what they just heard. He gripped the edge of his seat tighter, glaring down at his plate.
Here he was, actually looking forward to eating his ochazuke today, and now, with just a few words from Ego, his day was completely and utterly ruined.
No, his week.
Or his month.

╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ Hello! I'm finally writing another fanfic! It's been a while and this will be another long one since I just have so many scenes and ideas in my head and this is how I get them out.
This is a fanfic about what if Suguru didn’t die that day and how that could play out. This goes from when Hakari and Kirara were First-years, into JJK 0 all the way to the culling games maybe?
There will be smut, angst and ooc moments. I try to keep characters as canon as possible but for things to change and be different they have to do some ooc things.
