Summary
When Liu Kang ascended to his godhood and remade the realms, all he sought to do was give all it's inhabitants a fair chance at a better life. Some, like you, revere him for his power. Some, like Bi-Han, bristle at the mere idea of a superior creator. Besides, what merciful God would allow such suffering and humiliation upon an alleged "friend?"
After suffering a mortally wounding accident in Kombat, "respect" for the Fire God is furthest thing from the Grandmaster's mind. He's lucky to even walk, and he will never return to Kombat again- The perfect weapon, honed from birth by the Lin Kuei, reduced to humiliating ruin.

Summary
Haldir and his patrol rescue a woman outside of the forest and bring her to Caras Galadhon. She is allowed to stay to recover from her injuries, both physical and mental. Haldir slowly finds himself as her protector and worries what will happen once she leaves the forest for good.

Tears rolled down her face as she looked over the dead men, arrows protruding from all but one. She gasped for breath when her eyes spotted the small party of elves standing at the tree line, bows aimed right at her. Her fingers trembled at the sight and not wanting to be shot as well, she threw her dagger to the ground.
Haldir made a signal and the patrol lowered their weapons. He slowly approached her afraid of spooking the poor woman more than she already was. He pulled his own blade out but she stepped away from him upon seeing it, eyes filled with fear.
“No harm will come to you now. Please allow me to cut your bindings.”
