Summary
"The longer you live in a world like this the easier it becomes to see what's human and what's just a few evolutionary clicks away from almost being one."
Heavily inspired by Andrew Joseph Whites "Hell Followed With Us."

This is just a place for me to post a lot of my poetry. Ignore it. Don't ignore it. Dwell in it. Question it. Cry to it. I don't care. Enjoy it <3.

Summary
“You probably do not think this is cruel,” GLaDOS says suddenly, not taking her gaze from the mouse for a second, “After all, you have such enormous capacity for cruelty, I doubt you can recognise mistreatment even when it is right before your eyes. However, a normal human with basic abilities of empathy, love, and compassion, would correctly identify my treatment of this animal as cruel.”
Chell says nothing.
“However, if this experiment were to be submitted to an ethics committee, it would receive full approval. Cruelty, in and of itself, is not wholly banned in science, after all. It is simply needless cruelty, the kind you excel in, that is not permitted. What I am doing is necessary for testing conditions. What I do is the only way for knowledge to progress.”

Summary
"We’re all animals in the end, are we not? We crave the satisfaction of blood and violence. But we’re not just animals, not at all; we’re social animals. We seek camaraderie, the sight and touch of another. The only thing more enticing than a bloody victory is connection. And we here at Showfall give the thousands of people within our devoted audience a chance to feel that connection!"
Following the finale of Hetch’s “Social Experiments”, Ranboo is repurposed as “The Devourer” — a bestial antagonist in Hetch’s latest production, which stars beloved returning cast member, Charlie, as Showfall’s newest Hero. This story is complemented by illustrations throughout, an audiobook adaptation, and an accompanying website.Bookmarked by Starrysquire
