You have heard tales about the Pevensies, the sons and daughters of Adam brought to Narnia and blessed by the lion himself, but you don't believe any of them until you are dying by their hand and they are weeping over your corpse.

    Summary

Obi-wan lowers his tea cup. “I do not have any predecessor. There is an error.”

“I do not think so,” the officer turns over a page and gestures a line. “Count Dooku of Serenno.”

Obi-wan thinks that the Force is very merciful for he wasn't drinking tea at the moment of this... atrocious revelation. Otherwise he would be choking right now, this much is presumable.

    What a way to go.
    or
Dooku leaves everything to Obi-wan, a bank clerk finds Obi-wan on Tatooine. It complicates things.

(One day, a bureaucrat walks into Master Kenobi's house. He says, Count Dooku bequeathed his asset to you.
    That's it, that's the joke.)

Shipwide Memo 209-F: Comms Brevity, or How Not to Narrate Your Own Heroics

Channels are for information, not memoir. Use callsigns, locations, and verbs. Do not broadcast: “I’m going in, this is it, tell Waxer—” Save that breath for moving.

    Examples:
    • Good: “Gold Two, south stairwell blocked, rerouting east.”
    • Bad: “Sooo anyway—” (anything that follows “so anyway” is not brevity.)

    Regards,
    General Obi-Wan Kenobi

P.S. If you can exclaim, you can exhale. Do the latter first.

    --

Obi-Wan’s hilariously passive-aggressive memos inspire a cult following aboard the Negotiator—part safety manual, part stand-up routine. When a newly assigned Jedi adds a simple addendum—“Remember your humanity”—the words spread across decks, battalions, and hearts, reframing the voice Obi-Wan didn’t know he was writing in.

Celebrating the small, boring acts that keep people alive.

    Summary

Through ungodly stupid magic DC bullshit, a cult successfully summons the Eye of Horus, Pharaoh to the House of Life, one of the Killers of Apophis, follower of the path of the gods.

Members of JL Dark, some members of the JL, and most importantly John Constantine are appropriately horrified.

Carter is just really excited to have new research materials. Magic is always fun to study!
