If Sora had been sipping on coffee, she might have been the one dumping it all over herself this time. “Nope,” she says, overly-cheerful. Lloyd stares at her for a beat too long and she chuckles nervously. “I, uh- might go check on Arin though. Not- not because he needs to checked-in on, just- doing a nice friendly thing, yep, okay, bye, I’m leaving now.” She slips out of her chair and dashes out of the kitchen. She scowls, smacking the side of her head as soon as she’s out of sight and speed-walking down some hallway she doesn’t find familiar.
Idiot, now he’ll definitely be suspicious.

The green ninja saw the cursed realm taken down. He saw his friends win. He saw Wu give Morro his hand, begging for him to come back.
“You can only save someone who wants to be saved.”
At the ghost's words Lloyd dropped the sword with a clatter, gasping and panicking.
Morro-

He didn’t see it happen, but he didn’t need to. Lloyd wasn’t an idiot.
Morro killed himself.
Or-Lloyd is freed from Morro's influence, but after having gone through so much the green ninja is tempted to follow in Morro's footsteps

Summary
A little glimpse into how Lloyd became Kai and Nya’s little brother, and the little brother-shaped hole that he left in their hearts when he passed. I’d say this is pretty Nya and Lloyd centric, but Kai gets his time to shine. Read the tags, my dears. It doesn’t have a super-duper happy ending. Heck, the title should be enough of a warning. This could be read as a sequel to my other story “Eight Plates”, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to read that first. It does take place in the same timeline and stuff.
