Summary
Jose felt like a cask, an empty flask that washed up on shore and was overlooked by passerbyers until it would eventually erode. In ways, he did feel like he was decayed. He had lost the brilliant shine in his eyes and his charming wit. His body has been put through the wringer, parts disposed and emotions barely intact. It was replaced with months of brutal depression, suicidal ideation, and alcohol abuse. These vices replaced his guileless love for the world with harsh cynicism. Nothing was permanent, and neither was he. Give or take, he was hardly human.
Or so, he initially thought.
Maybe there was a way to prove to himself and others that he was still a person, too.NOT ABANDONED!! I'm coming back! March 7th 2025

Summary
After news of his father’s death, Diluc and his wife return to Mondstadt, forcing him to confront the pieces of himself he had promised to leave behind.
The forefront of such things is polo.
It is easier said than done. When Varka offers Diluc a fresh new start at Mondstadt’s prestigious St. Favonius Preparatory Academy, Jean urges him to take it, and Diluc is none the wiser to the starry eyed boy down the hall.
But when Kaeya comes, and looks at him with those same star shaped pupils of the coach that defined his hot-blooded youth— Diluc struggles to keep himself under control.
And, most importantly, keep his hands to himself.
