How did Beidou come to meet Kazuha and why has she been missing in the story up till now?
A fanfic set in Inazuma after the liyue story arc and Childe story quest. Revolves around Beidou, Kazuha, Scaramouche and the Second of the Harbingers, Il Capitano.
Sort of like a prologue to the Electro arc: 《Omnipresence Over Mortals》too, so you can expect this fanfic to be as ‘canon’ as possible by tying up all loose ends before it leads to the beginning of the traveller’s story in Inazuma.

Childes smirk turned into a grin, knowing he had them under his thumb.
“Your debt can be erased, if you give your daughter to the Fatui.”
You lived a comfortable life in Liyue, hanging out with friends, eating at your favorite restaurants, listening to stories from the storytellers at Iron Fist. That is, however, until a certain Harbinger enters her life. At first, it started with his small comments of her artwork, and occasional business talk with her father. Then she began to see him everywhere she went, every corner she turned, he was always there. One fateful night he struck a deal with your father, who was deeply indebted to him.
Pay the debt on time or else you die. Otherwise, send you with him to Snezhnaya and become a Fatui Member under the apprenticeship of Childe. You were sure, you were so sure of yourself that never in a million years they would. But when you looked at them, your heart dropped. They didn’t look angry, they didn’t object. They stayed silent.

"I am human…" It was smiling, making Baal feel threatened for a second. "I am not your puppet…" It took Baal's sword, ignoring the fact that it was cutting its hand. "Not your clone" The sword cut its hair, cutting one of the features that most resembled the Archon.
Baal, in an attempt to achieve immortality, accidentally creates a defective clone of herself — except it has its own feelings and thoughts.
