Benny looks almost panicked to see him. It’s the second time he’s ever seen his childe scared. The Brujah looks for cracks in the concrete, but it seems like the other is hellbent on making them himself.
It’s only when he feels large, calloused hands slamming him back against one of the support beams that the Brujah realizes very quickly that Phyre should not be watching.

When dusk settled the next night, the Nomad awoke in that same basement of that same Seattle apartment by that same unfortunate security guard. The mark marred their flesh once more, and their powers diminished. It filled them with dread having to be shackled like this once again. If this was a vision, it felt all too real and all too close to how Phyre remembered it.
