It was typical, at this point, to catch Akutagawa hanging around the ADA’s office. Dazai had been calling him in more and more often, insisting that partnership was absolutely required for trivial tasks that Atsushi could easily complete on his own.
“I’m not a smoker.” Akutagawa muttered eventually. He held up his cigarette in front of him, staring at it with contempt. “Call this curiosity.”
“Curiosity is why that box of cigarettes is half-empty?”
“Curiosity is why I haven’t thrown you off this rooftop yet.”

Summary

This couldn’t be just another story about a sleeping princess, this is more like a sleeping beauty’s worst nightmare.
