To Xie Lian’s utter dismay, the jolt as the elevator started to move again caused Hua Cheng to lose his footing and fall into him, practically pinning him into the corner. There was no avoiding the deep tones of Hua Cheng’s thoughts, somehow even deeper than his voice was in real life.
"I’m touching him."
There was a slight panic laced into the thought, as though he was absolutely mortified. Xie Lian figured that made sense. After all, Hua Cheng had his reputation as the office’s star employee to uphold, and he doubted that being seen in such proximity to Xie Lian would do much good for him. The next rush of thoughts was just as panicked as the first, a tone that he had never heard his coworker use out loud before.
"He smells so good, what is that? Flowers? Does he use a floral shampoo? Fuck that’s adorable."

Xie Lian nodded and made his way over to the kitchen. He made sure to keep his head down to avoid any more eye contact. His poor heart couldn’t take this! It was already beating like a rabbit’s, and the last thing he needed right now was Hua Cheng’s eyes on him because he’d probably have a heart attack and combust simultaneously.
He made his way over to the fridge and began pouring water into his cup he had grabbed from the cupboard.
Ah, why did this handsome man have to be so.. well, handsome? Xie Lian had seen Hua Cheng in his boxers plenty of times, but the sight never failed to fluster him. Sometimes Xie Lian felt like he was purposely being teased by him..
