“Sssfine Judy,” Harry slurred, his lips slick with a sheen of spit and bile. “I do this aaaall the tiiiime. I’m a profesh.” He tried to pull away from the satellite officer’s grip, nearly tripping over his own feet in the process. “Oh—hic—fuck.”
“A professional fuck-up,” Jean snapped at him before turning to Judit. “Fine. I’ll babysit him overnight if you really think that’s necessary. Just make up something to tell the Captain. And get someone to clean that up before it leaves a stain.”
Harry gets so drunk at work that his coworkers decide someone needs to stay with him overnight. Jean volunteers, but once he starts drinking Harry's liquor, things get heated. Intended to take place very shortly before Martinaise.
