Summary
Sirius wailed, tears falling onto James’ cold skin as he held him. The only thing that made him pause was the shrill cry of a baby inside the room next door. Sirius propped James up against the wall, touched his face one more time, and swiftly ducked into the room.
Lily was dead. Harry was not.

Or, a cannon-adjacent fic where Sirius, Severus, and Remus try to get over their differences to protect Harry from his only living family.
