Summary
“Detective!!!” a frantic voice called out, “come quick, I think it’s a kid!”
She rushed to her comrade, who leaned on the floor behind some boxes. When she reached him, he was performing CPR on a boy who didn’t look to be older than 16.
He was pale and sickly thin, blond hair caked in dirt and grime, and a puddle of what she assumed to be vomit pooled beside him, mixed with a white powdery substance. Her eyes widened as she took in the blood trickling from the boy’s nose and the slightly bluish hue of his lips.

During a police search, Detective Vaggie Guerrero comes across a young boy exhibiting symptoms of overdose. While waiting for him to wake up she begins to wonder about his life, and what brought this boy to a place like this.
