Summary
Dazai only meant to slip out quickly to buy medicine for his sick roommate—nothing more. Summary
There is a boy sitting at the table, dark hair hanging over his eyes, wrapping bandages around his wrists and up his arm. The boy is tall, skinny, with black clothes that only seem to make him look paler. The most striking thing, however, is the bruise that marrs his right eye.
“Who are you?”
The boy spares him a glance. “I'm Dazai. Mori is my guardian as well, for now.”
Dazai’s mouth curls into a sardonic smile as he speaks, and if Q knew the word irony, that's what they would have called the association of the word guardian with Mori.

Summary
Chuuya's popular at school, widely liked, and Dazai's everything but. People avoid him, fear him, and so do Chuuya's friends – The Sheep, a group of kids he accidentally became the leader of. After one nasty encounter, Chuuya goes to confront Dazai, and only after already beating him up he reluctantly realizes he's not as bad as the rumors paint him.
It's been a year since, and they're not friends, going off Chuuya's claims, but they share a line of connection. The Sheep is not happy about that. Arguments erupt, trust breaks, Chuuya considers murder numerous times, and kids jump off fences – not exactly in that order.
Then, one day Dazai stops coming to school. Later, Chuuya finds out he committed suicide. Weeks pass and just as he starts accepting the new reality he goes back in time a week before Dazai's death. He's left mourning Dazai while seeing and talking to him at school every day, trying to compromise their relationship with The Sheep, and dealing with his own unresolved feelings all at once.

Or: Dazai successfully commited suicide, Chuuya went back in time, and now is on a seven days long mission to make sure it doesn't happen again.
