If Purple had to describe the experience, they would hover somewhere between somewhat unpleasant and mildly acceptable. But compared to evacuating the planet together, passing out next to a friend was nothing. Now, the thought was more comforting, especially since Purple imagined their bed was a lot more comfortable than the cots provided to everyone else on the ship.

But what if that wasn’t how it went? What if he got turned away from the heroic path before he even knew it was an option? What if Sonic became one of the villains he always swore to stop? What if…he liked it?
