Summary
Gary pulled, dragging his captain out of the water. His teeth grinding and he dragged the waterlogged man through wet sand and seaweed.
His mask was wet, his vest was wet, he'd dropped his gun when the ship practically exploded. He had no clue where Simon, Johnny, or Kyle were. They were off the coast of Maine, getting ready to make landfall in the town they had heard of last month.
He tripped over a chunk of driftwood, going down with a heavy wet thud. Panting he smacked John's face a few times, his wet glove getting sand in the man's beard.
John sputtered, coughing up some sea water, sitting with a long groan of pain.
Gary lays on the sand panting, pulling the mask down so he's not water boarding himself. He looks up at John. What happens now, what are they supposed to do now, where were the others, dragged out to sea.
John Price, his captain, isn't looking at him, his hazy blue gaze is watching the wreckage. The grey smoke drifting up. 8 years only to loose it all at sea.
Until they stumble across a herd of goats and the sole woman running the farm.
