“No, I am sure it is him.” The first man insisted, the grip around Max’s shoulder tightening painfully as he was heaved forward and onto his knees. “I have seen him before.”
Max’s whole body slumped in, his eyes falling shut. They refused to open again, every breath a strain on his lungs.
There was a hand seizing him by the back of the hated steel collar around his neck, ripping on it so his head was tilted upwards, calloused fingers gripping his chin. The small pain the rough treatment caused was nothing compared to the one in the rest of his body, Max barely felt it.
“It is him. Max Emilian Verstappen.”

Summary
Max Verstappen, Redbull’s legendary assassin, a ghost story, and not quite the man Charles Leclerc thought he was.

The FIA finally captures Verstappen, the highly skilled, red-eyed assassin with multiple confirmed kills operating for the rouge agency Redbull. Charles expects him to be uncooperative, violent but instead he's met with a skittish twenty-year-old who barely speaks and seems terrified of the prospect of returning to his agency.
The strange serum along with a whole other concoction of drugs left in his system don't exactly scream willing participant either.
But Redbull want their weapon back and they will stop at nothing to get it.
