When the people of Midgard find an unnatural entity out there within close range of their solar system, they're struck with the usual pandemonium of neophobia: The confusion, intrigue and suspicion... And as usual, hand over the responsibility of—whatever it is you brought—to others who they think should bare it.
Others that just so happens to be a group that also just so happens to have a pair of scientists onboard, and they come across you.

Unite 141 head on a mission to Al Mazrah with the intent to apprehend the terrorist Major Hassan. while there, their target gets away but they find in Hassan's possession is American missiles and the widely rumoured weapon named "project: Achilles". whatever their expectations for this rumoured weapon is quickly goes down the drain when cracking open the crate to see the a young malnourished teenager staring back at them with dead eyes.
(aka me wanting to write about these traumatized men taking care of a equally traumatized teenager and eventually adopting them. platonic story obviously, be warned though cause there is violence, blood, maybe some gore and child experimentation/child soldiers.)

But he does when he meets Captain John Price, his enemy, but also his guide and mentor; the guy he'd chose as race engineer if he were a driver; the man who doesn't care to share drinks with him, who doesn't look at him and treats him different. He (almost) feels like someone, and not just the 'cheap sniper'
But will he keep his attitude, when he finds out Aleksey is his enemy? When he finds out he's Makarov's protege?
He wouldn't blame if he didn't
