Summary
Picking up after the end of Tony's Thrall, Loki and Tony are living in the tower, protected from Asgard by Loki's magic. Their situation changes and they need to leave their sanctuary to secure the safety of the ones they love.

You don't need to read Tony's Thrall or Vatnsandur to read this. Below is a quick synopsis to catch you up. SPOILERS for Tony's Thrall.

Tony's Thrall - Loki was sentenced to slavery for his crimes by Odin. He was bound by a thrall-collar that forced him to obey, and used as a sex slave for two years until Thor rescued him and gave him to Tony. Before they managed to get the collar off, Loki had to perform sexual services for Tony in order to be allowed to eat and speak. They went back to his former owner on Nidavallir to bargain, where Loki was kidnapped and tortured. Tony and Thor rescued him and Tony was finally able to release him from the collar. Loki took his revenge on the one who kidnapped and tortured him, and then came back to be with Tony, as his willing and eager submissive. Happily Ever After, or so it seemed.Vatnsandur - a short tale of a popular OC from Tony's Thrall, the nameless & mysterious forest ranger who oversaw Young Loki's sexual awakening.

When Loki took over the Asgardian throne he was not in his right mind. This did not go unnoticed which led to a very different chain of events than we are familiar with. Thanos should never have gloated about his plans, because now, the heroes of Earth know he is coming. And they will be ready for him. Not just the Avengers either, there were always many others.
Or I rewrite the MCU starting with Thor, to include other portions of the Marvel Universe, and create a world where people make smarter decisions.

Here's the thing: When you throw yourself on top of an alien byproduct that you've been told is going to explode, you can assume that's going to happen. It's what happens after, that no one can prepare you for.
Especially when the alien byproduct you've thrown yourself on top of is actually some kind of infinitely powerful stone from another universe that no one has ever been able to control until now, and that stone has some kind of sentient component because it has decided that you're fit to wield it's power. And, since this power is so volatile and not of your universe, you have to relocate realms and leave everyone you've ever known behind, believing that you're dead.
Yep. Not even Bruce Wayne could prepare you for something like that.

The prince of Asgard discovers two things: love and his true parentage, both of which lead to catastrophic events.This story will roughly follow the storyline of the first Thor movie, but adds a whole new twist to it.

Summary
Loki has been in love with Fandral for years but has never been able to express it, both out of fear of Fandral's rejection and Asgard's. But it weighs on him, wondering if Fandral feels the same way, for the man always winks at him, flirts with him, teases unendingly, and Loki can't tell if it's actual interest or just... Fandral.
But he still fears rejection, and in a fit of what he is certain must be sheer madness, he steals Gungnir from his father's rooms and sends a letter daring Fandral the Dashing Thief to do better.
Instead, Odin sets Fandral the task of capturing the thief that stole Gungnir and bringing his spear and the thief back to him.
And Loki is in way over his head.
