Summary
Francesca has lived as a secret alpha for her entire adult life - using herbs to repress her alpha instincts. She'd thought she'd found safety and comfort in the arms of John Stirling, but his tragic death stole that away from her. To make matters worse, his cousin, Michaela, is an omega who makes her feel excited and scared for reasons she cannot explain. When Michaela is named the new Lady Kilmartin and announces her intention to return to London, Francesca flees back to her brother's home and sets herself onto the marriage mart.
But of course, masking as a beta will not be as easy for Francesca as it was the first time, and complications quickly arise when her Majesty threatens to select a more "refined" diamond for the season.

Summary
University AU where Francesca is supposed to be in a perfectly loving relationship with her boyfriend, John, with a sensible future of marriage and children on the horizon, right up until John's cousin, Michaela Stirling, returns from a sabbatical abroad and Francesca finds herself, suddenly, hopelessly curious about another woman in ways that are utterly nonsensical.
Now Francesca finds herself unable to stay away and trying very hard not to think about why telling Michaela she and John are dating feels like it would ruin everything. Surely keeping that little detail about her relationship status cannot be seen as lying if Michaela never asked. Right?
--
Or, finding the courage to be yourself before it's too late.
--
Doesn't love make us all a little crazy though? Or is that just Francesca?

Summary
‘Here,’ Francesca continued awkwardly, ‘we can share the blanket. You can sleep on the right side and I’ll sleep on the left side. But uh… if you prefer another side, you can choose. I do not want you to feel forced into sleeping somewhere specific.’
Michaela smiled slightly.
‘I think I’ll survive whichever side you give me, princess.’
She climbed onto the bed and ended up laying on one of Francesca’s plushies.
Francesca realized Michaela was probably too tired for another conversation, so she quietly laid down beside her.
For some reason, sleeping next to Michaela made her stomach feel strangely warm and nervous at the same time, though Francesca didn’t really understand why.
At Westbridge Royal Academy Francesca Bridgerton tries her best to be the perfect princess, the perfect student, and the perfect girlfriend to John Stirling.
Unfortunately for her, Michaela Stirling has just arrived at the academy, and the fact that she also happens to be John’s cousin certainly does not help Francesca avoid falling in love.

Summary
"Do you know what your problem is?" Eloise asks.
"Several paid professionals have tried to answer that question."
"You're in love with Michaela."
Francesca nearly drops her wine glass.
"That's absurd."
"You learned Portuguese when she had to spend a month in Sao Paulo."
"I learned Portuguese for practical reasons."
"She's the practical reason."
Francesca Bridgerton is definitely not in love with her best friend. Unfortunately, the evidence would like a word.
(or the very slow friends-to-lovers modern AU in which everyone has already figured it out except the two women sharing lingering eye contact, emotional dependency, and an alarming commitment to calling it friendship)
