Summary
Martin the selkie has been stolen away by Peter Lukas, who is everything his mother ever warned him about humanity. Both his former caretaker Jonathan Sims and former captor Elias Bouchard swear to stop at nothing to get him back, but they may need to pool their resources to succeed.
NOTE: This is the second fic in a 2 part series and will not make much sense if you don't read the first one, so I highly recommend doing that!

Summary
Stede can’t help crying out in pain, in the next beat, finally giving in when an instinctive sound comes up. It’s loud, and the crew goes dead silent around him.
Stede doesn’t even notice. He’s just trying to breathe, skin tugging painfully, when a door bangs open at the opposite end of the ship.
“What the fuck was that?” Ed demands from afar, voice heard easily over the crash of the sea around them. “Was that Stede? Where the fuck is he?”
“Oh, no,” Lucius says quietly.
“If you jump overboard, babe, I swear I’ll come back for you,” Black Pete promises him.
or: lucius accidentally gives stede a flesh wound, and ed loses his mind like they're not all pirates.

Summary
"Dead?" Ed asked again and Lucius understood.
"December tenth," he read as steady as he could, "Stede Bonnet, husband of Mary Bonnet, mauled by a jungle cat, trampled, and crushed by a piano. He is survived by his wife and two children. He was known to some as the Gentleman Pirate."
"What else?" Ed asked. And this was Ed, definitely, not the creature created from the bones of Ed's grief in Izzy's twisted image.
"That's all, Captain."
...
Stede escaped from Chauncey physically unharmed, but mentally scarred. Lucius was hiding in the dark corners of the ship and, oh, Ed was suffering, too. But not nearly as much as Lucius.

Summary
The guard posted on their barracks gives Ed a weird look as he sneaks back in that night, almost like he wants to bolt. It's not entirely unexpected--though the rest of these idiots may think he's tamed, this one has sound cause to think differently--but the back of his neck prickles a warning at that look of terror all the same.
There isn't much he needs to collect, and he'd packed most of it up before leaving to acquire a dinghy. No sense being weighed down with obvious proof he means to escape. Stede's bunk is already empty, of course, the man himself led off by the guard outside half an hour before, but this is Stede. Best if Ed checks for himself to be sure he didn't leave behind anything important.
Like his stockings. And his shoes. And every fucking thing else save the piss-poor clothes the quartermaster gave him. What the entire fuck?

Summary
Oluwande had insisted on only three days before the crew came after him in a valiant last-ditch swarm of swords. It’s the only way to guarantee he won’t hurt you He’d said.
Stede hadn’t said I don’t care if he hurts me. Instead, he’d put his foot down and shook his head. Fourteen days, no more and no less.
---
After saving the crew from the desert island, they’ve regrouped and made a plan. Stede has fourteen days to make Ed see reason, after that they’re coming after him, come hell or high water. But Ed’s remembering the comfort of his old friend cruelty, and it’ll take more than pretty pleads to make him change.
