First of all, thank you, everyone for your concern in this matter! I truly hadn't expected to reach so many people with my post and your kind comments really meant a lot to me! You can find my original post here.
The TL;DR for everyone who doesn't want to read that one: my house got broken into recently. When I arrived the door was open and the interior smashed. A friend of mine was grievously injured and my dog was gone.

Look, I love my job. I absolutely love my job. We've got excellent benefits, fantastic pay and it truly feels like I'm part of something bigger than myself. Something that will change not only our generation, but everyone going forward. And it doesn't feel like a job-job. Mostly I feel like I'm playing videogames, or doing something similarly fun, and not like I'm stuck behind a desk in a high responsibility position.
