What's up with the sudden Superman hate?
If you haven't already seen the new clip of Superman's parents, what are you even doing? Watch that and head back.
Alright, now that we're all caught up, what's up with the sudden Superman hate? We've always had the #supershit idiots, but after Luthor leaked that video of Superman's parents everything just completely escalated. Which is kinda insane to me.
I mean, even if, if, that video is actually true, who's to say Superman ever listened to his parents? Cause so far he's only been saving people all over. Hell, he even stopped a war a couple days ago, I feel like we're all forgetting this! If his rebellious teenage phase is stopping wars, I'm certainly not gonna condemn him for it, you know?
Also, this new hate against Superman and people who are "more" is really making me scared. I mean, what does this mean for all the other metahumans out there? If a single video of questionable source (didn't Luthor break into Superman's home to get this??? I feel like that can't have been legal) can condemn a person this easily, who's to say this won't happen to other people as well? Especially other metahumans.
Gotta be honest with you all, I'm kinda scared what this means for all of us. There's countries at the brink of a war and the only one who's trying to stop them is getting dragged through the worst mudslinging I've seen online in years. What kinda chance do other metahumans -- or even regular people -- have, if even Superman isn't safe?
I know I will get down voted to hell for this, but I just needed to get this off my chest. Let me know what you guys think about this! As I said, this just feels super random and out of nowhere :(

Do you honestly think it's okay for a single guy to involve himself in politics like he did in Boravia? If nothing else, that should be enough to critique him. But to top all of that off, he's apparently here to take over the world. Look at the facts: he's here to take over the world, he's almost undefeated and he has no problems involving himself in regional politics.
You're really worrying about the wrong stuff here, OP

UPDATE: I can't edit my post, but what's up with that new video of Superman confronting Luthor in his office? Like... this is not only confirmation that Luthor broke into Superman's home (absolutely insane and kinda illegal) but apparently he stole Superman's dog? This is getting more absurd by the second, I swear

Why are you focusing on Luthor possibly breaking into Superman's home (only Superman's word for this) and not on the very real video evidence of Superman breaking into Luthor's office and assaulting him? I feel like one of these is the bigger issue

Man, these comments are depressing.
I grew up with parents who sounded a lot like Superman's did. "You're better, cause you're white" and all that shit. And you can bet my teenage years were ugly because of those believes. But you can be more than what your parents want you to be! Just imagine everyone in the world judged you based on a couple sentences your parents told you when you were a baby. That's just fucked up.

Thank you for sharing this. I agree with it. Superman has never acted like that message implies and he looked pretty shocked to see that video. Almost like he didn't know it, just look at his reaction halfway through
