Summary
When Jack agreed to tutor Ace, after a few attempts to convince him, he wasn't expecting anything. Well, he expected Ace's grades to improve, which was the least that could happen.
But, when he finds himself expecting something more from their sessions, he takes to investigate to know just why. And if he looked a little more closer, he could find something about Ace that might just change what they are to each other.

An early morning run leads to a scenario Jack would've never thought would happen, and it's all Ace's fault.

"Woah, did the big strong wolf wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?"
And there the culprit was. Leaning back against the bleachers, dangling from his hand was Jack's bag that contained all his stuff, there sat Ace Trappola. Bangs of copper messily tangled that nearly covered his eyes, his smile not as wide as it usually was, eyes that nearly drooped, try as he might to look more awake. Jack felt a twinge of worry, before it was pushed aside by the feeling of annoyance. Out of all the people to pull such a thing to him, he hadn't expected Ace. Neither did he know as to why Ace was up so early too.

Summary
Set during a visit to Jack's family and his hometown. Jack and Ace, along with their siblings go sledding, well, except for Ace, who is quite content with watching from a far with just a cup of hot chocolate. Jack joins him after awhile, and for a brief moment, everything's peaceful. That is until Ace's flask of hot chocolate is near empty of its contents. Bantering ensues, and an apology date is offered at the end. Fluff oneshot.

“Give me back my shirt,” Jack huffed, an ear twitching in annoyance as he stared Ace down. Ace swallowed down his bite of cherry pie and put the plate down on Jack's bedside table. He raised an eyebrow in response, crossing his arms, while wearing said shirt.
“Why?” He questioned.
“Because,” Jack sighed, “almost all my shirts are gone, and so are my jackets, but moving on,” he waved a hand, as if to wave away the thought, “if this keeps up, I might as well be practicing on the Spelldrive field half-naked. And I will not be doing that.”
“Why not?” Ace asked, a shit-eating grin on his face now. “I don’t find any problems with that.”
