Summary
After six weeks of silence due to her insecurity about Bruce Wayne's feelings toward her, Selina Kyle reveals to him that she is pregnant. The public soon learns of the billionaire and cat burglar’s situation, so the couple finds themselves at the center of a villainous plot.

Now, Selina was curled up on the tiled bathroom floor of her current hideaway, anxiously holding the white stick in her hand. $10 to find out her fate. Surprisingly reasonable — which she realized was a strange thing to focus on at the moment. Maybe it came from years of scraping together resources. Maybe she should have sprung for the sophisticated kind with a screen that was at least double the price of the plastic piece in her hands currently, but she was pretty damn sure. She just needed an ounce more certainty before telling her partner about it, if that’s what he still was.Let me know if you’ve spotted any critical character inaccuracies. I’m always open to constructive criticism and requests :)

Summary
A kind of very messed-up short story I wrote and submitted in high school as an actual assignment. I was supposed to write a story based on an image, and I chose one of an old man and woman smiling while picking apples together. As I tend to do, I wrote it in a darker direction than I had any right to direct it.
Sample:
I taste my stale, foul breath granted by years of unhealthy coping habits and feel the dryness of my tongue as I take a bite of the literal fruit of our labor. A sour feeling pierces my heart and I realize at once that these past few days have been no “sort of bug” as I believed only two minutes ago. I have been poisoned.- Language:

Then Ilya’s mouth was there. Right on the spot. His lips pressed a soft, lingering kiss to that exact patch of skin below Shane’s navel. It was a combination of the location, the tenderness of the gesture so at odds with Ilya’s usual aggressive passion, and the sheer accumulated sensitivity of weeks of focused attention that broke the dam.

Whimpering, Shane looked down between their bodies. Ilya’s other hand dragged slowly down Shane’s chest, over his trembling stomach, and came to rest just below his navel. There, pressed against Ilya’s own abdomen, was a soft, distinct bulge.
“See?” Ilya whispered, his eyes glowing with a feral light. “That’s me. Inside you.”
He pressed down with his fingers, right on the bulge.
