Summary

Slow updates possibly, because I have trauma with DV myself. This fic started as a project to help me work through my trauma, but after I got a little tipsy and decided to post it on TikTok a lot of people wanted to read this fic. I hope this finds someone who will enjoy reading as much as I will enjoy writing, but due to how close to home the abuse aspect is, it might be a while between chapters. But I promise I won't abandon it, and will still post as regularly as I can. This fic is too important for me to just abandon 🤗 Y'all just might have to bear with me.

Summary
A rewrite of ALL of Stranger Things 5. Like everyone, I was very upset with the ending, so I decided to write my own from the beginning. It starts where season 4 ended, since I thought that that should have been where season 5 should have started. I still keep the 18 month time skip for the sake of Byler. I also added a few more major deaths, due to the fact it felt very underwhelming. There is definitely an alternate ending to this, since the duffers can't seem to be able to write shit. I'll try to skip all the boring/unnecessary parts that don't matter in this, so if something isn't mentioned on here, still assume that it happened, I just didn't have to alter it or change it. This is my first EVER fic, so if it sucks, tell me straight up or feel free to give me some tips. Anyways, I really hope you guys have fun reading this (I know I had fun writing it :) and I'll try to update this at least weekly if not more frequently. Enjoy!!! (Also it's a working title...)

When Will's mom surprised Will with 3 tickets to go on a cruise, Will was confused and hesitant. The tickets should only be 2 and he wondered who he'd give the extra ticket too.
He considered not using the 3rd ticket, just throwing it away. That's what any sane person would do. But why would he do that? This is a big cruise, he'd find someone who wanted to come along with him and his boyfriend, right?
