In one swift motion, he knelt and pushed the plug into the outlet, turning and feeling along the casing beneath the screen for the power button. A springy click… and then his ears filled with the familiar high-pitched electric whine of a working CRT.

Ramon knows what freedom costs. He'll do whatever it takes to get it.
