Minghao is young, freshly twenty, thrust onto the throne by the untimely deaths around around him, he hasn't established his influence but the court is unforgiving, always watching, waiting for him to make a mistake, ready to swallow him whole.
And Mingyu is not here to remain. A family name hanging in balance on the edge of erasure, a brother, fragile, fading with each day and the choice he has to make between his own family and another's.
But they haven't faced each other yet. Not without wedding veils standing between them.
