Summary
When Olivine was just an acolyte he had a brush with the True God's cult.

“You’ve been summoned,” it was a different speaker, “so that we may consider if you are worthy of training to be an Offering.”
“Strip,” the same man said.
“What is this?” a finger pressed against the peridot gem in Olivine’s navel.
“Your Holiness, I was born with it. The elders in my village believed it was a sign that I already belonged to Klein,” Olivine answered. He held his hands rigidly at his sides even though he badly wanted to cover himself and hide his privates.
Another finger reached out and dragged a hard nail across Olivine’s nipple. He gasped, but managed to stop himself from moving.
“Sensitive,” the owner of the finger murmured, his tone either amused or approving.
“The Council has decided to accept you to begin Training to be an Offering. Your Training begins tomorrow."
