Draco would accept his wand from Potter, thank him, and leave. That was how it should be. He and Potter were destined to remain ex-rivals, with nothing in common anymore. Once Draco left this house, he would only see Potter in the newspapers, and perhaps, in a few years, they might cross paths by chance—exchange polite nods, and then go their separate ways.
Except… Draco couldn’t leave.
He was cursed. Of course, he was. He should’ve known something like this would happen—because this was his life.
And it had all started with an owl—and Potter’s terrible, utterly appalling handwriting.

Summary
Everything for Draco after the war has surprisingly been going well. When he decided to come back to Hogwarts, he was afraid everyone was gonna shun him for being a former death eater. He initially thought he deserved it. After all, many lives were lost in the war. But, surprisingly, almost everyone accepted him with open arms. Of course, there were still some students that avoided him as much as possible in the hallways, but most of his classmates who came back, especially the Gryffindors, looked past their history and it went so far where he can even call them friends. There is only one problem though.
The war has somehow made him realise what his true feelings were for Harry James Potter, and he is trying his best to ignore it because there was no chance Harry would ever feel the same.

Or where everyone in Hogwarts KNOWS that Harry Potter is head over heels for Draco except for Draco himself.
