Xiao wondered himself how did this happen, to allow a mortal to stand so close to him, to touch him and make him feel. He has lived for over a millenia yet not once did he feel the way he did when he was with Aether.

Raiden flinched and tugged his leg away, but Kung Lao clung onto him, barring him from moving as he wished. Raiden then pushed Kung Lao’s head away once more, only to see blood dripping down the other’s chin and two distinct pinpoint wounds on his upper thigh.
Instead of staring up at Raiden like the last time, Kung Lao pulled his head away and immediately attached his lips to the spot he had bitten and began lapping at his blood like a beast.
Raiden was going to protest once more, but then the pieces were slowly starting to come together. The eyes, the teeth, the biting. What the fuck was going on?
