Summary
“Are you worried someone will see?” Sirius asks, nothing bitter in his tone.
“Not… worried, per se,” Remus answers after a long second, the guilt rising up in him, “More like… cautious, I suppose.”
Sirius nods in understanding but continues to pull him out amongst the crowd.
“Cautious of your students seeing you with the man you love?” He asks, and Remus knows that it isn't meant to hurt him, but the words do sting a little.
“Cautious of losing everything I've worked for if the wrong person sees.”
And then Remus glances up and realizes they're in the middle of the crowd now, people slowing swaying to the beat alongside them as Sirius looks at him with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
“Well, my dear Moony mine, I say let them see.”

— Przepraszam, czy to będzie w porządku, jeśli Remik zje obiad w wannie? — zapytał. Potem dotarło chyba do niego, jak dziwnie brzmiało to pytanie, bo zaczął gorączkowo tłumaczyć: — Ja się oczywiście nie chcę narzucać, ale po prostu wiem, że jemu pomaga gorąca kąpiel i pomyślałem, że może jak się trochę rozluźni, to będzie w stanie coś zjeść i jeśli to nie problem, to czy mogłaby pani odgrzać mu rosół, i… Cholera jasna, to znaczy… Przepraszam, no chodzi mi o to, że ja wiem, że jak on ma te napady, to mu pani robi rosół, ale on już pewnie wystygł, bo już dawno po obiedzie… Przepraszam, przepraszam, gadam głupoty.
Nadzieja z całych sił starała się nie zaśmiać, kręcąc głową. Osiemnastoletni chłopcy, z jej doświadczenia, raczej nie lubili słyszeć, że są przeuroczy, więc ugryzła się w język, wzięła głęboki wdech i zlitowała nad nieszczęsnym Syriuszem.
— Tak, to będzie w porządku, jeśli Remik zje obiad w wannie. Nie martw się, serdeńko — odparła.
— O. To fajnie. — Chłopak natychmiast się rozpromienił i rzucił do roboty.***

Po upewnieniu się, że są już na wystarczająco dużej odległości, Kuba, trzymający Lilkę pod rękę, zwolnił nieco kroku i westchnął.
— Muszę z tobą pogadać o jednej rzeczy — zagaił.
— O, dobrze się składa, bo ja z tobą też. Ty pierwszy czy ja pierwsza? — zapytała Lilka.
— Ja mogę. Tylko musisz mi obiecać, że jak powiem, że więcej nie mogę powiedzieć, to nie będziesz drążyć. — Chłopak przystanął i odwrócił się do niej twarzą.
Dziewczyna złapała go za wolną rękę i spojrzała w górę, prosto w jego ciemne oczy. Uśmiechała się, ale jej głos brzmiał poważnie.
— Obiecuję. Ale ty to samo musisz obiecać.
— Jasne, obiecuję. No to tak — Tu Kuba rozejrzał się po alejce parkowej, jakby upewniając się, że nikt nie podsłuchuje, po czym bardzo poważnym konspiracyjnym szeptem spytał: — Lila, czy ty wiesz, co to jest gej?

Czyli następuje wielka dezercja z pochodu pierwszomajowego, ktoś tu jednak musi dostać w mordę, plebiscyt na najbardziej kretyńskie imię nie zostaje w końcu rozstrzygnięty, a Remus i Syriusz widzą tę nieszczęsną żyrafę (i w domyśle jadą do Jarocina). But the werewolf has a book he wants to finish reading, and Sirius is cruel but not *that* cruel.

“Will you at least tell me who you are?” The werewolf’s voice is surprisingly steady.
Again, Sirius remains quiet, but he crouches down, grabs the werewolf by his face, turns it left then right. There are scars there, but there are also freckles.
The man of the moon looks like he’s been sun kissed.
“I’d like to know the name of the man planning to kill me.”

Summary
The doorbell rings in the middle of a Saturday, and Padfoot, bless that big silly boy, barks and wags his tail in his better impersonation of a golden retriever.
"Coming! Just a sec! No, Pads, back, stand back- " Remus finally manages to push Padfoot out of the way and open the door just a crack. There are two men standing outside.
"Hi!" The one wearing glasses says with a bright smile. Padfoot barks louder, trying to push against Remus' legs.
"No, Pads, please shh- Hello?" Remus answers.
"Is that your dog?" Says the man in leather, hands in his pockets, but head trying to peek behind Remus.
"Yeah?" Remus says, and it's almost a question. Padfoot keeps barking. "No, Pads, please, Padfoot, shhh"
"I told you it was Padfoot!" Says the one with the glasses, slapping the other man on the back and then coming even closer, to kneel by Remus' door and try to pet Padfoot through the small crack. "Name's James, this is Sirius-" James nods to the other man, and then his voice shifts to a baby voice "-and this is baby Padfoot, yes you are"
Or
Remus adopts a dog from a shelter. A year later, Sirius Black knocks on his door, looking at Padfoot like he’s seen a ghost.

Summary
Remus kicks his own heels the whole way home, dragging his feet like they’ve got cinder blocks attached to them. It’s not that he’s scared or even that worried, sometimes arguments with Sirius are the most passionate thing he can engage in, and intimate too. Sometimes fighting with Sirius feels like making love, and he’ll take that any day. But he doesn’t want to go home and find more silence, that’s too much like what he was born from.
or: the marauders live in a warehouse TRC style and spend their free time smoking weed, making music, and kissing each other.
