Edit 10.06.2026: I re-read it and I'm soooo hung up on it. After struggling to find something good to read, this reminded me why I love reading them fics so much. I live for Taehyung and Jungkook living in their own bubble, they'd let the world burn just to be together. -

There’s a beat of silence and then a soft gasp. “What if they are married? You know, to each other.”
There’s a laugh. A really amused sounding one. That seems more ridiculous than them having an affair, although Jungkook really doesn’t want the students to start spreading that rumor. “Don’t be ridiculous. Professor Kim looks like he could kill when Professor Jeon is simply mentioned around him.”

“You’re really going to keep doing this?”
“And you’re not?” The air vibrates between them, charged with the unspoken. “We’ve been at it for years, Jeongguk-ah. Why stop now?”
It’s as much an acknowledgment as any. Taehyung has never spoken it out loud before, and it catches Jeongguk off guard. It’s just a moment, a brief glimmer in his eyes, but Taehyung can’t let it slip. He has to capitalize on it.
“Though I will admit I enjoy seeing you jealous.” Taehyung can’t resist the smirk. “You’re awfully possessive of someone who isn’t yours.”
