Summary
Picking up where season one leaves off, Carol and Manousos start the harrowing journey of saving the world, navigating their uneasy alliance (and blossoming friendship) while Carol does her best to find out if she or her grief will drown first before the world ends for (potentially) the last and final time.
Carol's new theory about neurotransmitters, fueled by heartbreak and caffeine, might prove to be the missing element in Manousos' formula for unjoining. However, despite throwing herself into work, The Golden Girls, and her liquor cabinet, Carol can't keep a certain enigmatic brunette chaperone of her mind.
So, she calls. That's all it is. A simple, friendly phone call in a moment of desperation.
Or is it?

Summary
After the end of the world becomes a logistical problem, Carol finds herself living amidst vodka and a sky that refuses to stay dark.
Every night, the city lights go out when she looks at the stars at a specific point. Every night, she pretends it means nothing.
Zosia should be unreachable now — for Carol's own good — but instead, Zosia watches her from above, bound by the rules Carol strives to uphold and also bound by a “love” Carol seems unable to extinguish.

Summary
Carol’s nerves quickly subside. It’s not that she’s worried about underperforming - she knows what she’s doing - it’s that she unconditionally wants to give Zosia everything, all of it, more than all of it, all at once. She wants to give her every orgasm, every intensity and every pleasure and every high and every feeling of being worshipped and adored and adulated whilst also fucking devouring her.
