Summary
Connor supposes he should be grateful Captain Fowler is even allowing him to continue to work at all without Hank there. But as Gavid Reed slams his palm onto Fowler's desk and points an accusatory finger towards Connor, he can’t help but feel like the Captain had to be playing some sort of sick joke.
“You stay the fuck out of my way, tin can. Don’t talk, don’t interrupt and don’t fuck with any evidence. Understood?” Reed’s voice was laced with the hint of a threat. If Connor didn’t listen, there would be hell to pay. Connor swallowed slowly and watched as the detective's eyes traced the movement, confusion briefly breaking through his anger.

Connor and Gavin Reed are forced to work together after an injury puts Hank on medical leave, and Gavin learns there's more to Connor than what meets the eye. This story follows Gavin and Connor as they navigate a post-revolution world and manage to find peace with each other. That is, of course, after copious amounts of hurt/comfort with a sprinkling of angst.

“We’re lucky enough to have a member of staff that fits the guy's preference nigh on perfectly.” Gavin nods slowly, not sure what that preference was. This was Anderson's case, not his, after all. He knew the suspect from wanted emails in his inbox, but that was about it. So why the fuck did Fowler look so goddamn crabby?
The answer is revealed a moment later, when Fowler calls his partner for the night over, and Gavin audibly groans in frustration. The figure standing on the other side of the car perks up and pushes off, hunching their shoulders and crossing their arms in a very sullen manner. As they approach, the light hits their face, and Gavin has to hit pause on his brain as Connor comes into focus.

Gavin Reed works on a once-off undercover mission with Connor and then finds himself feeling protective of him after Connor is assaulted. A focus on the night of the situation, and then following Gavin as he becomes more involved in Connor's life.

"A creeping sensation dances up and down his spine. Connor looks around, scanning for anything out of place but can find nothing. But he feels someone’s gaze on him. He notices the blinds of the bathroom are open, but there’s no one out there, it leads into his backyard, and there was no way anyone on the street or in his neighbours houses could see him.
But he could swear he felt someone or something watching him. Connor shakes it off. He’s had a rough day, he’s probably tired and he has a pounding headache. That’s all. There’s nothing there. It doesn’t stop Connor from going around and closing all the blinds, unease building at the sheer amount of windows in this house. It’s stupid, he thinks, but he doesn’t feel the sensation ease off until all the blinds are closed.
He drifts into an unsettling sleep, one eye half open to the empty house, worried about something being outside. Or worse, inside."

Connor is doing his best to navigate the world after the android revolution, when he finds himself the victim of a stalker.

Summary
Hank was going to pop a blood vessel, he was fucking sure of it. The past week had been filled with that androids creepily human tone asking “may I ask you a personal question?”, and this last one pushed Hank over the fucking edge.
“For fucks-“ Hank sighs under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Fine, but only if I can ask one in return.” And Hank could’ve sworn Connor perked up slightly at his sudden interest in the android. It gave him the creeps, and for not the first time in the last hour Hank wished for a beer. He cursed his fucking detective senses for already profiling the android and noticing the slight changes in his body language.
OR
Hank's curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to try and push Connor to Deviancy. But he doesn't realise how unprepared Connor and he are for Connor's humanity, and it may lead to a closer bond than either expected.
