And as curiosity gave way to something else, Majima felt a pang he hadn’t known before.

Majima woke up first the next morning and noticed the snow. He didn’t know what time it was. He felt Kiryu’s warm breath at the back of his neck. He didn’t want to wake him, so he lay there, looking outside, grateful for the safety he was engulfed in. He was in a lot of pain. He played back the previous evening. Yes, fighting got them hot and bothered and yes, it often resulted in sex, but that... that was not it. That was something he didn’t want to think about.
