"Also, take your soap out of the staff shower when your shift is done. Okay, Doc?" Jack said to me, needing to get the last word like it was an irritated dig.
"Why, you don't like it?" I quipped, sitting up from the bed and reaching for my tennis shoes.
"I smell like a second year resident," He said, beginning to shut the door to the on call room.
"A regular occurence I'm sure!" I shout, but he already is far away by the time the door shuts. His presence definitely missing from the room.

You've sworn off relationships. Spencer’s never had one.
The moment you first enter the BAU, Spencer is inexplicably drawn to you. However, he quickly comes to find that you’re more distant than his favorite lenticular galaxy (which is approximately three hundred twenty-seven million light years away, for the record). Spencer knows better than to assume that what meets the eye—that is, a cold and painfully aloof demeanor—is all that’s to be found.
His assumption would be correct. You only keep your heart locked away in a (nearly) impenetrable fortress because you’re tired of it being mistreated.
