Eventually, he landed on When Harry Met Sally.
Mulder glanced at her, noticing she’d been quiet this evening. He nudged her shoulder lightly with his elbow.
“You zoning out on me?” he asked, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “Tell me, do you think this counts as a Christmas movie?”
Scully blinked, caught off guard. “Christmas movie?”
He nodded toward the screen. “Festive, romantic… all the criteria are met.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Depends on the criteria. I’d call it a rom-com that happens to take place at Christmas.”
Mulder gasped softly, dramatic. “You mean you almost agree with me?”
She rolled her eyes, trying to hide her smile. “Don’t get used to it.”

“Well,” she said, teasingly brushing her fingers along the edge of this sleeve, tracing the shape of his arm. “I thought we might want to have a little more fun… just the two of us.” She added, kicking off her heels.
“Scully, are you trying to corrupt a federal agent?” He grinned, a playful tone in his voice, “because it’s working.”
She arched her brow, marching his tone. “Hmm, you know I’d never.”
Two FBI agents. One bottle of vodka. A drinking game that probably violates at least 10 bureau policies.

“Are you spying on me now?” She teased, wanting to see where he was taking this conversation. There was a touch of challenge in her tone, her fingers playing with the cuff of his shirt.
Mulder grinned. “Just observing,” he said. “Purely professional.”
“Mm-hmm,” she murmured. “I told him I’m already seeing someone.” She said with a mischievous smile on her face. She loved moments like this.
“Oh yeah?” he said, leaning in just a bit closer, “Well, tell me about this guy you’re seeing, Scully.”
Scully is asked out on a date, which leads to a eventful evening at Mulder's apartment.
