Mulder and Scully get together in late season 2 but this au follows the X Files since season 1 and how different it is when they don't dance around each other for 7 seasons and Mulder has a good father figure.

I labelled this AU, but it actually fits into canon as one of the Sims that Neo and Trinity lived through during their 60 years of imprisonment.
The story begins with a cold open on Tom and Jon but becomes slow burn to TriNeo. I just had to follow my muse on this one...

Summary
End of the World is a fix-it fic that contains spoilers from the show. Many of the chapters are written as missing scenes. The story is focused almost entirely on an evolving relationship between Walter Skinner and Dana Scully.
Plenty of smut to be found in this one! I love these characters and this particular pairing and wanted them to have some fun outside (and occasionally inside) the office. Check the tags.
Starting with the events in 'Paperclip', the first few chapters are angsty and mostly involve random instances of resolved sexual tension.
