Then he ends up in a too-small flat with Britta Perry, a woman he barely knows and already argues with like it’s second nature.
She’s been here longer. She has a life, or something close enough. A bartending job, a collection of mismatched thrifted furniture, a way of expanding into every space she occupies. She’s easy to fight with and impossible to ignore.
There’s a version of this where they never meet. Another where they tolerate each other. Another where they get it right the first time.
This isn’t any of those.

But she has a hard time with one person in particular in her new circle. Bellamy happens to be more stubborn, hardheaded, and protective than anyone she's ever come up against, but she might also see a different, kinder side of him that she never thought he would have.
