Summary
I was extremely disappointed by Arcane Season 2, especially with the handling of Vi's, Jinx's, and Caitlyn's story arcs, as well as the Caitlyn/Vi relationship. I hope this at least adds much-needed context to important scenes and fleshes things out.
I do not believe that Arcane was always planned to be two seasons. Season two was incredibly rushed by pushing at least two seasons' worth of content, and needed heavy rewrites.
As of December 5th, I have started uploading chapters and will upload one chapter a day until every chapter has been published.
As of December 7th, I am currently rewriting to make the story better.
As of December 17th, I am still working on rewrites, and am not sure how long it will take.
I have to mention Random Film Talk's videos on Arcane, because he did an incredible job of breaking down the difference in quality between the seasons, and also helped me understand just how terrible season 2 was. Link to channel: https://www.youtube.com/@randomft
